We have to risk our emotions. DECIDE its better to live at risk of being hurt than to hold back from love and forgiveness. Only THEN we can act out God’s grace to others.

I’ve recently been trying to communicate with someone who keeps saying “what if…” and “I don’t believe” and “hopefully someday”. Really what they are saying is they don’t believe God changes lives, and they believe they have the right to judge hearts. Unbelief is so crippling to grace and we can fall into so easily!

BTW – God nailed me with this hard about six months ago, so I am not trying to speak without seeing the plank that is in my own eye/life. Now, I am trying to recognize how far someone has come (even if only a step) instead of looking at how far I want to believe they have to go. I’m learning to leave that journey in God’s hands and celebrate today instead.

“But” you can’t lead groups any longer to Mexico. “But” we don’t DO that kind of evangelism. “But” we can’t have those kind of people on our campus we’ll lose families leaving the elementary school. “But” we don’t see how ministry to them means KNOW,SHOW and GROW GOD.”But” they have felonies. “But” who does ministry to the homeless camps?
GRACE says..”Yes” take folk to Mexico. “Yes” we’ll do that evangelism. “Yes” we can make a place for them.”Yes” God will help us to include all in our KNOW SHOW and GROW in God work. “Yes” let’s go to the homeless camps. Yes” we care that they have felonies they need our grace.
Better to be a wet water walker than a dry boat sitter any day.
