Only the cheesy fireworks are allowed in Oregon. Bummer. If they were allowed, bottle rockets would be numero uno for me.

We have a firework that spins on the ground for a split second then shoots up into the air like a rocket.

Some fireworks are illegal like bottle rockets, but a special trip to a nearby state solves that problem

Mike,mike , mike…here in the Evergreen State, we have real fireworks…i normally do a whole show on the side of the house with rockets, etc. most years we can sit in the front yard and see all the neighbors doing theirs'.

down here in the dry state we dont get to…they leave it to professionals…but thats no fun…

I miss the good ole days in Texas with chasers, rockets, and roman candle wars. Now that I live in California, I have to settle sparklers and spinners which are boring in comparison. At least the pros put on good shows…

I think that they are illegal in Georgia but they do not enforce it unless you are causing problems. We have to go to Tennessee to buy them, which fortunately is just a few miles north of the house. My favorites are the multi-shots.
