Searching

Too many talented leaders get sidelined.

They blow up, burn out, or give up!

They leave their dream and are never seen again.

Too many of our revolutionary world changers are now selling used cars, working at Starbucks, and believe the lie that it is over for them.

As People of the Second Chance, we can’t wait for them to just come home.

We should run after them. We must zealously search the forgotten places of our world looking for the fallen.

OUR ASSIGNMENT FOR EACH DAY:

Keep your eyes open, find those who have lost faith in tomorrow, and bring them back home.

Let us be people who CHASE THE PRODIGALS!

You know, sometimes we're so busy with life that we never think of chasing the prodigals. This is a very much needed down-to-earth reminder.

In many ways I am reminded of Jonah in this – God continued to chase him so that he could fulfill what God had in planned for Him. God has plans for the Prodigals that they need to be reminded of.

    Thanks for stirring my mind.

That was me…the prodigal. My prayer is that I never become like the other son that's bitter because the prodigal returns, but rejoice because they're now home!

Totally agree with this. There lies such a great potential in all of us, I believe, but we're made to believe that we're worth less, do less than what we're capable of. There's a little Spiderman that is ingrained in all of us.

    right on!

i so agree with what you said. so many things will tell us that we are worth less…especially our own voice. its important to ignore those voices!
