Abraham was blown away when God took him outside at night to look at the Milky Way (Genesis 15:5). I wonder how many of us have seen it--not many I reckon. Light pollution and air pollution block most stars from being seen from Atlanta, where I live. What an amazing thing to ponder about! To be honest, I do catch and find myself gazing up in the sky to stare at the stars. The closer to the strip you get, you really can't see them; however, up here near the mountains where I live they are clear as day and I find it to relaxing and calming. It brings back to my center knowing God created all of that beauty.

totally. very cool thoughts. as a scientist and engineer, i have to constantly remind myself that the wonderous things of nature are supposed to remind me of God.
