I love Lenny Kravitz and his music (dating back to his first record).

What I really like about this video is how he just comes to hang out and “take in” what the students are doing with his song. When he does eventually join in, it's on the tubs in a supporting role (servant leadership..??..) He isn't a primadonna/doesn't rip the guitar/mic from the kid w/ a “let me show how it's done” attitude – he just lets the kid do HIS thing… And he even seems to be reluctant to want the mic at all. Good, good stuff!

My perspective was that he let the choir sing and respectfully do their job. Lenny did not ask to sing his song one time throughout this entire clip, the guitarist finally had to ask him. Pridefully he could have taken the mic within the first 30 seconds, but he didn't. Lenny shows humility…Lenny shows respect.
