POTSC is about your story and your voice.

So I had this idea. I want put your name inside my new book “GRACENOMICS.” (Book comes out this Fall.)

I put a section in GRACENOMICS where at the top of several pages it will say “WE ARE PEOPLE OF THE SECOND CHANCE.”

I WOULD LOVE FOR YOUR NAME TO BE ON THESE PAGES!

    Hi Mike.
    Had a question for you…in amongst, what is currently growing to be a TSUNAMI of names for your book (you crazy idea guy, you !)
    I have been seeing more ministries and messages talking tough about sin and salvation. I mean, it is intense! They are saying things like many churches have gone “soft on sin” or too many people are peddling a “say this cute phrase and your salvation is guaranteed” philoshophy.
    It seems like battle-lines are being drawn between a loving, grace-filled Savior and a fearful, powerful, righteous God. Has it become an arguement of GRACE vs. JUSTICE?
    To me, God is BOTH of those—and so much more.
    We desperately need grace in this world. But we also need to recognize the sin in our lives and what that carries with it. I think there is a very full “plate” of unique stuff presented to us when we each finally meet Christ eye-to-eye in our lives.
    What are your thoughts on this?

    Rick, great question. I would love to hear Miek's comments too. I have experienced this firsthand and have felt torn by the idea that it is either or and not both. The Lord is 100% grace and 100% truth to me, and only he can be 200% which is why I need him.

    My friend i have a coment for you and all those very upright and righteouss people who have “worked up” holiness apart from our savior. After all is it not man that begins the work of salvation and brings it to completion? Gods wrath was wrought on his own son and justice was purchased by his own blood and he shall have mercy on whom he wishes to have mercy. Sin has been obliterated under Gods Grace and if it is in man to see into the heart of man ,what need do we have of his guidance when all sin in the heart is clearly visible. I have heard Horror story upon horror story of “the appearance of evil” manifesting itself as it did in the jewish nation of the priest passing the wounded man on the other side of the road so as not to be defiled. Make no mistake that any fruit is wrought by the tree and not the branch and in the realm of the spirit man must be yeilded to the spirit and the opinion of man must be at the very least secondary. God is tough on the heart not the outward appearance. How many times has a fellow Christian seen the outward and not known the heart in error and sinned? We are known for shooting our own wounded ;are we as bold as the pharasies to say we have no sin yet we are quick to cast stones.I cannot remember an age in time, because of education, that wisdom as to who we are has been thrown out the window. WE are dust,sheep,desperately wicked,worms,all called out by GRACE and nothing else.
